Zack Schaefer is a writer and director from Salt Lake Utah. Zack makes movies with an element of Magical Realism where he can bring his colorful and irreverent voice to already unique premises, especially in the horror genre.
Zack grew up acting out in a Mormon household led by a kindergarten teacher, he was stuck between the saturated world of elementary school and the clinical and overbearing authority of church. That drew him towards fantastical stories, especially movies and classic myths.
He has won an award for directing and is currently working on his most recent short film, Would You Still Love Me If…? A horror comedy that takes place in a cosmic gameshow.
